The Blood shall never fail...

I have been miserable for a deal of time. But never did I know I sank myself into self pity. I wasn't aware.

Maybe I haven't been paying attention to myself for a long time, maybe I did not guard my heart. Maybe too many things have happen in a short period of time.

No matter what the circumstances were. I was unawared that I sunk into the trap that the devil had dug for me, "self pity".

True enough, life have been unfair to me. True enough I suffered many blows of life which I call them "Low". Completely undeserved. Yet like Job, Bad things do happen to Good people.

Somehow, that was the trap that was set to catch me unattended. The truth of life was mixed with an alternative word.

Does it sound familar, Adam?

That sumbag, what a low blow...

I was kept in captivity, in bondage within my own mind. I was struggling within to catch a breathe even when I was standing on water. I was overwhelmed by the raging storms of life, when all I could have done was to look at the storms and say "Be still..."

What was I thinking? Do I not know who I am? Maybe I have forgotten my position...

By the Blood that was shed for me, I can overcome...

The Blood shall never fail...

Daily Confessions - Day 4

“ All things work out for the good! ”

"We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose. " ~ Romans 8:28 (Amplified Bible)

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. " ~ Romans 8:28 (NKJV)

"That's why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good. " ~ Romans 8:28 (The Message)

Drinking down Life's gall

I was rather down lately. Again..

However, instead of pouring out my sorrows, I swallowed them all down. I guess, they all got stuck in my throat.

I tossed and turned, I struggled like a fish that is out of water. Trying to find its way back to the streams. It was uncomfortable. A horrible feeling. I was as good as dead. I guess that was called, "dying to self".

I began to realise the state of my spiritual health. The root of all evil comes from the heart.

"Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life. " ~ Proverbs 4:23 (NKJV)

Yes, that's right, I have allowed Bitterness to consume my life. Bitterness is like Streptococcus pyogenes, a small, unseen to naked eye, "flesh-eating" bacteria, that slowly eats you up from the inside.

Usually the infections (Necrotizing fasciitis) caused by these bacteria are mild. But these bacteria does produce toxins that can damage the soft tissue below the skin and cause a more dangerous infection that can spread quickly along the tissue covering the muscle (fascia). The bacteria also can travel through the blood to the lungs and other organs, causing more implications.

Bitterness is that thief the devil has sent. He steals your life away and leave you with nothing left. He takes away your peace and your joy and left you rotting in your flesh.

I have been through many defeats, many failures and many loses. All those left me with great pain and bitter grief. Dealing with those pain are never easy. Sometimes, they are just too much for one man to handle.

The biblical Greek words for "Bitter" is PIKROS and "Bitterness" is PIKRIA. PIKROS originally meant "sharp", or "pointed". Then it was used more generally for anything that was penetrating to the senses, something that had a pervasive smell or a "shrill" noise. PIKRA was used for the bitterness of the taste of some plants, and finally found use in speaking of personal experience when something was unpleasant, undesirable, or when something bad was unexpected.

The funny side of life is this:

You are bitter because life was not kind and not fair towards you. Yet to defeat Bitterness from stealing from you, you got to bow down to life and apologise for being bitter. Well, that is the Kingdom of God. Always doing the opposite to achieve something. Give and you get, sow and you reap, fight to draw closer, forgive and you are forgiven, and die to yourself so that you can live for eternity.

Is there one person I can trust?

In this bo-chup world, people are bloody bo-chup. Ask them to work, they give excuse, draw the line of your work my work. There is completely no cooperation, zero team work. How can the society grow? How can the econmy prosper?

It is a fine line between friendship and working relationship. Behind the scene I can be playful and friendly. But when it comes to work, it's WORK! For crying out loud!

Can Singapore sustain as a developed country, like the news today? People's attitude towards life and work got to CHANGE!

Don't let your position you hold defines you as a person! Be the person that solve the problem, and STOP being the PROBLEM!!

Rise up Singapore! RISE UP TO THE OCCASSION!!!!

Is there one man that I can trust?

Daily Confessions - Day 3

The Only CONSTANT in Life is God...

Darkest moment of life

Sometimes it is already hard to make ends meet at the darkest moment of your life. When you began to realise that you need help. You start to look to your left and right, you realise, gosh! Those who used to be there ain't there anymore. You needed help but there isn't any. You needed reinforcement, but they are not going to come. You realised you need to rely on yourself but you are already at your limits.

It is sad to know that, your so called friends are not people who stand by thick and thin with you. The people around you are not so helpful as you are to them. Whatever you have sown into their life, you are not going to reap anything back.

But that is all ok... No help? Rely on yourself then. You can't go asking for help and expecting help to come all the time...

But then you realised, the people you have trusted, the person you have called a friend or family began to judge you. Say things like, you get yourself into shit because you are lazy, you can't be bothered. You are useless, you are a slacker.

How many of Job's friends are there in life?

Life itself is already unfair. Bad things do happen to good people. Even though they don't deserve it. Scorners laughing at your plight, accusing you of things you have not done.

This world indeed is broken. So broken there is no love. Where there is no love, there is no God. And in a Godless town, people turn to their talents and ablities and their success as god. They pride their success. They king them as king. Worship them as god.

A Godless world is cold. People claimed that they have god, yet they live a godless life. People claimed to love, but they love only when their pastors are watching. People claimed to care, but they care only when there is a need to care. Isn't it all too late?

People do things because they are rewarded by them... Yet God's eyes are roaming across the earth looking for one whose heart is wholely after the truth.

Oh God of heaven, did You hear my cry? Will You take me out from my devours' hand? Will You deliver me from my circumstances? Will You be true to me as I am to You?

Oh God my Lord, are You there for me when I need You? Will You be there with me in the valley? Will You walk with me as I walk with You?

Apart from You, I alone am nothing. I solely needed You, in everything I do. I needed You every moment of my life. Will You never depart from me, but keep me close to You. Oh God, there is nothing more than being in Your arms, safe and sound.

Leave me not my God, for there is nothing I have left but You. I hang on to the cross looking up to see You. Oh let Your mighty hands pick me up once again.

God, I NEED YOU!!!

Daily Confessions - Day 2

“Be of Good Cheer! For God Has Overcome the World!”

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." ~ John 16:33 (NKJV)

"I've told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I've conquered the world." ~ John 16:33 (The Message)

Daily Confessions - Day 1

I am introducing a new series called "Daily Confessions". I will post something to confess and mediate upon for 30 days. Hope it benefits you in one way, or another.

I am Who I am because of What I am made OF! God...

*Disclaimer!:

I DID NOT in anyway say I am made from God, made to be God, made out of God, or ranked myself among God, or self-proclaimed to be a god. I DID NOT also say I am God.

I SAID I am made OF God. I am made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). God breath a breathe of life in me (Genesis 2:7). And the Holy Spirit resides in me (1 Corinthians 6:19, John 14:16-17).

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. " ~ Genesis 1:27 (KJV)

"And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. " ~ Genesis 2:7 (KJV)

"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?" ~ 1 Corinthians 6:19 (KJV)

"And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever-- the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you." ~ John 14:16-17 (KJV)
