Why does the Chicken cross the Road?
No, my friend. It is not a joke. Why does the Chicken cross the Road?
A philosophical question.
A chicken represent timidness. A chicken represent fear. A chicken represent a domesticated animal that live for one reason only. A chicken live to be slaughtered for food. A chicken has only one thing in mind. To live another day to eat and be jolly before getting its neck twisted and its body roasted.
So? Why does the Chicken cross the Road?
The road represents danger. The road represents uncertainity. The road is dangerous. The road will kill.
So? Why does the Chicken cross the Road?
Why does a timid chicken who have a short life span try its luck in crossing the road? Knowing that more than 50% of the time it is going to get kill?
Why does the chicken want to take that risk? To take that risk of getting injured, to take that risk of getting hurt?
Is it true that the grass is greener on the other side?
Or is it true that the chicken is so tired of his present situation it wants to try something new?
Something new can be good. Something new can be bad. No one knows actually.
So? Why does the Chicken cross the Road?
Sometimes fear drives us to take risk that we normally would not. Sometimes fear make us do things.
Is it better that the chicken live its purpose to be fed and slaughtered? Or is it better for the chicken to dash across the road in search of freedom risking its life of getting killed at an instant? Or even try to delay its death by being free at the other side? Most of the time change is for the better. No ones knows. It is for the chicken to decide and bear its consequences.
